About Justin
I’ve spent more than 20 years helping people understand why they do what they do — and how they can change.
I’m Justin Duwe — psychologist, sexologist, psychotherapist, author and creator of Chemsex Freedom™.
My work has taken me from the therapy room to writing about addiction, sexuality and relationships — but Chemsex Freedom grew from something more personal too.

How I think about change
Wanting change and being ready for it aren't always the same thing.
There is a difference between knowing you want things to be different, knowing what needs to change, and understanding what may be stopping you from being ready to change.
People rarely change because somebody tells them what they should stop doing.
Over the years, I've become much more interested in the questions underneath the behaviour.
01
What is this doing for you?
02
What is stopping you from changing?
03
What do you need to let go of in order to change?
You can know that something is affecting your life. You can even know what you think you should do about it — and still find yourself unable or unwilling to take that next step.
That doesn't make the questions less important. It makes them more important.
For me, meaningful change begins with understanding what is keeping the current pattern in place — and what would need to become possible for you to choose something different.

Through the programme
I didn’t want to hand you a programme and disappear.
Every day of Chemsex Freedom™ is guided by me.
I’m there in the daily videos, introducing the ideas we’re exploring, helping you understand why they matter and guiding you toward that day’s work in your journal.
The programme has been designed to feel as though someone experienced is helping you keep moving forward — while still giving you the privacy and independence to do the work in your own time and in your own space.
“You do the work yourself. But you don’t have to figure out what to work on alone.”
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin.
You only need to be curious about whether something could be different.
14 days to try it for yourself
Try Chemsex Freedom™ for 14 days. If it isn’t right for you, your programme fee will be refunded in full.
Consultation fees for Justin’s private time are non-refundable.
